Caitlin Scott

Biography

Caitlin joined the Chef School in 2019 to co-develop the Honours Bachelor of Food Studies Degree. Prior to GBC, Caitlin completed her PhD at the University of Waterloo in Social and Ecological Sustainability. Her PhD research explored the challenges of governing for sustainable diets, focusing on ideational debates and power. She is interested in food issues and politics at the intersection of health, environment, and justice. Caitlin was also employed with the University of Waterloo’s Student Success Office where she developed programming, conducted research, and mentored students on a variety of skills required for success in undergraduate education.
