BrightSpace is the college's NEW Learning Management System. It's a web-based learning environment for course delivery to replace Blackboard.

Microsoft 365 and Teams

Students, faculty and staff have free & access to Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and more, all accessible from your home computer.

AppsAnywhere

AppsAnywhere is a free service that allows George Brown students, staff and faculty to access software on-demand, anytime, from anywhere.

LinkedIn Learning

George Brown Polytechnic has a subscription to LinkedIn Learning (formerly known as Lynda.com) whose training resources are in video format.

Open AI Challenge

The TLX is supporting participants in the Open AI Innovation Challenge. 

The Open AI Innovation Challenge aims to position George Brown Polytechnic as a leader in leveraging artificial intelligence to drive innovation and operational excellence in higher education. 

This program empowers all employees to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, by developing practical applications in teaching, learning, research, and institutional operations.

There are minimum technical requirements needed for students and faculty to facilitate and participate in online learning at the college.

Technical Difficulties

Students, faculty and staff experiencing technical difficulties with Brightspace, Teams or any other technology can get online support 24/7 with Help Desk Live Chat.
