We are testing out new educational technologies and tools to see which ones would be most useful to you as instructors. Recognizing the diverse needs of students in the classroom and presenting lessons and information in different platforms or modes ensures all learners have a chance for success.
These fun tools not only help you create more engaging content but also align with the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. We have identified and can provide support (help with technical issues) with several tools you can integrate into your courses.
Articulate 360 is the top PC-based eLearning authoring software on the market. It has lots of built-in features to create accessible activities that enhance engagement.
Camtasia is a software application that enables you to create professional looking videos. We’re excited to share that faculty now have access to Camtasia screen recording and video editing software. We have acquired a three-year license for faculty, and depending on usage, hope to renew yearly.
Vyond (GoAnimate): is a web-based software available through subscription. It lets you create fun and lively animated videos quickly and easily. You can use it to bring case studies to life with animated scenarios or demonstrate a complex process or theory through narrated animation.
Adobe Suite: is a software suite of graphic design, video editing and web development applications developed by Adobe Systems.
St James Podcast recording room is currently under renovation. Please check back for booking in March 2023 for more information.
