Materials & Supplies

Materials and supplies are normally kept in supply cupboards within each Faculty office at our campuses, and inventory levels are monitored regularly. If you require any teaching supplies that you cannot find in the faculty’s supply cupboard, please see one of the program staff and an order will be placed.

Photocopying

George Brown is committed to sustainability, and we encourage posting course information and files to Brightspace; however, a multi-function photocopying machine is available in each of the main office areas.

Printing at GBC Campuses

GBC uses a printing program called Papercut. This is a virtual queue that holds your documents for up to 24 hours, letting you control where and when to print. You can release/print your document at any printer across all GBC locations by swiping your GBC ID card in a secure and confidential manner.

To print on campus using Papercut, you must be using a GBC issued device or a GBC computer on a shared desk. For more information, view this document (attached) with instructions how to set up and use Papercut.
