George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.

Library E-Resources Accessibility Portal (LEAP)
The Library E-Resources Accessibility Portal (LEAP) is an assessment tool that was developed to assist library staff in upholding accessibility best practices for electronic resources and achieving compliance with the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
This assessment tool allows library staff at participating institutions to evaluate the accessibility of their e-resources and provides a repository of accessibility assessment reports that library staff can review to help make acquisition decisions, support library users, and advocate for accessible e-resources.
LEAP accessibility scores for GBC LLC e-resources can now be found in our research guides database listings. This information had previously been available to library staff only and we are now the first college to make this information available to students, staff, and the GBC community.
