George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
Teaching with Microsoft Teams
Starting in January 2026, Zoom will be discontinued at George Brown Polytechnic. Microsoft Teams will become the official platform for online classes, workshops, events, meetings, and training sessions.
Microsoft Teams provides a similar experience to Zoom, with the added benefit of synchronizing with other Microsoft Office Products (OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
All students, faculty, and staff have access to Microsoft Teams through their George Brown Polytechnic Microsoft 365 account.
