Research, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Showcase 2025
On Friday, May 30th, George Brown Polytechnic proudly hosted the 2025 Research, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Showcase (RIES), presented in partnership with startGBC and the Office of Research and Innovation. This signature annual event celebrated the innovative spirit of GBP’s students, alumni, faculty, and partners by highlighting cutting-edge projects, entrepreneurial ventures, and collaborative research and innovation initiatives.
Attendees enjoyed thought-provoking panel discussions, dynamic speed mentoring sessions with industry leaders, and the opportunity to explore groundbreaking research projects and promising new startups led by GBP students and alumni. The energy was high as the new Limberlost Campus transformed into a hub of innovation, collaboration, and creativity.
The event served as an exciting kickoff to Congress 2025, with meaningful networking and connections forged throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the power of research, innovation, and entrepreneurship at George Brown Polytechnic.
Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur, industry leader, or curious learner, the Research, Innovation Entrepreneurship Showcase (RIES) offers a dynamic space to connect, be inspired, and celebrate the power of ideas in action.
We look forward to welcoming you to next year's showcase!
