Build Your Investment Strategy with the BEA Investment Bootcamp
The Black Entrepreneurship Alliance (BEA) Investment Bootcamp is designed to help Black-led startups build the knowledge, confidence, and connections needed to become investment-ready.
This free, four-month program supports early-stage Black entrepreneurs through expert-led workshops, one-on-one mentorship, fundraising guidance, and practical strategies for accessing capital. Whether you're preparing to raise your first investment or looking to strengthen your growth strategy, the bootcamp provides the tools and support to help you move your business forward.
Participants will gain valuable insights into topics such as:
- Understanding pre-seed and seed-stage funding
- Alternative funding opportunities beyond venture capital
- Pitch development and fundraising strategies
- Legal, financial, branding, and investor readiness support
- Mentorship from experienced founders and industry experts
The program is open to Black-led startups in Southern Ontario and offers two streams to support entrepreneurs at different stages of growth from founders with a validated idea to businesses already generating revenue. Participants also receive a three-month YSpace membership and conclude the program with the opportunity to pitch at Demo Day and connect directly with investors and ecosystem partners.
