George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.

Applications Now Open for the 2025–2026 ECHO Program Cohort
We’re excited to announce that the newly rebranded ECHO Program (Entrepreneurship for Commercialization of Health Opportunities) is now accepting applications for the 2025–2026 cohort. This transformative, 12-month national training program offers entrepreneurship education, expert mentorship, strategic partnerships, and funding opportunities of up to $100,000 to early-stage ventures in the health sector.
Now led by the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, the ECHO Program has broadened its focus to support innovators across a wide spectrum of health research and care, not just cardiovascular technologies. This expansion reflects a growing commitment to building a stronger platform for nurturing the next generation of health entrepreneurs across Canada.
