For our faculty and researchers, the first step in a brighter future is to imagine it.

The Interactive Design Exchange (IDx) applied research program enables collaboration between GBC research teams and industry partners to address their technical challenges and research questions focused on user experience, integration of interactive features, and gaming.

Smart economies are productive economies, and by working together with our industry and community partners IDx supports greater innovation and productivity through the design of products and services that will help Canada and Ontario energize and transform.
