Mitacs is a national, not‑for‑profit organization that connects students with paid research and innovation internships. Through these opportunities, George Brown Polytechnic students collaborate with industry and community partners on real‑world projects, gaining hands‑on experience and strengthening their professional skill sets.
Through the Mitacs program, George Brown also delivers targeted research and innovation support to local partners—helping accelerate capacity building in areas such as product design, product and process development, digitalization of products and operations, and production scale‑up.
