The excitement is building for the 2023 Startup Global Pitch Competition, aimed at propelling your business onto the international stage. This year, they offer two exceptional avenues to participate. You can choose the virtual route through our online application process or go all-in by presenting in person at one of the vibrant stops on our Startup Canada Tour!
New "Pop-up" Pitch Competition
Introducing a thrilling addition this year - the Startup Global “Pop-up” Pitch Competition, part of our Startup Canada Tour. This in-person opportunity offers a chance to win a generous cash prize of $3,000 at select Tour locations. Starting July 27, aspiring entrepreneurs can register for "Wild Card" applications at our final two Tour stops in Calgary and Brampton.
In these in-person competitions, participants will have a dynamic two minutes to verbally pitch their ideas (no pitch decks required) to a panel of esteemed judges. Following the pitch, participants will engage in a stimulating two-minute Q&A session with the judges. To secure your spot in an in-person Startup Global “Pop-up” Pitch Competition near you, complete the in-person pitch application, conveniently located in the Startup Global portal. Afterward, you'll receive a special promo code to register for the Tour stop of your choice at www.startupcanadatour.ca.
Prizes and Grand Finale
The victor from each Tour stop will not only seize a $3,000 cash prize on the day but also claim a guaranteed slot in the prestigious Startup Global Top 10 Grand Finale. This grand showdown is slated for October 26, 2023, in the vibrant city of Brampton, Ontario.
