Strategy 2030

Main Content

Three priorities. One shared direction.

Each priority addresses a different part of our future: the education we offer, the partnerships we build, and how George Brown operates. Explore what each one means for the people and communities we serve.

Priority 1: Every learner ready and confident for what's next

Three students pose with Helder the Husky at a Waterfront Campus event.

Learning doesn't follow a single path.

We're expanding options across certificates, diplomas, degrees, and applied master's programs, with more flexible pathways and hands-on experiences that prepare learners for their next steps.

Priority 2: Collaborative partnerships for polytechnic impact

Partnerships should create opportunities for everyone involved.

We're strengthening relationships with industry, Indigenous communities, educational institutions, and other organizations to expand applied learning, support research, and address shared challenges.

Priority 3: One George Brown, positioned for the future

Two students sit together at a table in the library. They are both looking at the same laptop screen, pointing at something. A water bottle and books also are on the table.

Great learning depends on what happens behind the scenes, too.

We're working to improve services, strengthen our financial foundations, and maintain the technology and spaces our community relies on.

Shaped By Our Community

Our future is something we're building together. That's why we invited students, employees, alumni, industry partners, and community members to help shape Strategy 2030.

Through surveys, focus groups, listening sessions, and interviews, people called for more flexible learning options, stronger connections across George Brown, and clearer accountability. Their feedback helped shape the priorities at the heart of Strategy 2030.
