Black Futures
During the month of February, we created a celebration that centred the conversation on how we foster and promote Black futures while creating community for all. This work is ongoing and we will continue to add resources to Black Futures.
Reports & Publications
George Brown enlisted a consulting firm to examine our anti-racism policies and practices, as well as our responsibilities to entrench the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Calls to Action into our culture and curriculum. Take 5 for Anti-Racism
Take 5 for Anti-Racism is a resource that guides the user through five simple steps to engage in Anti-Racism. This tool can be used by anyone: those who are versed in the anti-racism dialogue/practice, and those who are new to the topic
Training
We offer a variety of anti-racism training for participants across the college. Training ranges from opportunities for beginners to team-building exercises for employees, as well as online e-training and more.
