Test-Day Results
For IELTS on Paper:
IELTS Results are available for IELTS on Paper candidates 13 days after your test date. You will receive a Results Release email letting you know that they are released and you will be able to review them in your Test Taker Portal at that time. Recognizing Organizations that receive TRFs electronically will receive notification that your result is available the same day.
Your official copy of your results is called a Test Report Form (TRF). This is a physical form, there is no electronic version of it. We are prohibited from sending IELTS on Paper candidates soft copies of their TRF.
Please fill out the form in the Results Release email letting us know how you would like to receive your results. You can receive your results via Canada Post Regular Mail or you can pick up your results at our downtown Toronto office (200 King Street East). This form is available to fill out up until the Monday after your results are released. If you do not fill out this form, your TRF will be held in our downtown Toronto office. If you need to make a change to how you would like to receive your results after this time, please email us (ielts@georgebrown.ca).
If you are receiving your TRF via mail, Canada Post Regular Post can take 1-4 weeks. TRFS are usually mailed out 2-3 business days after the Results Release date. If you would like your results to be sent by courier please pay for the appropriate service.
Please note that candidates are entitled to one free Test Report Form copy. Any additional Test Report Form copy requests incur additional fees.
For IELTS on Computer:
Results for IELTS on Computer are usually ready 2-3 days after the test. You will receive a Results Release email letting you know that your results are now available. Your official copy of your results is called a Test Report Form (TRF). This is an electronic form that can be downloaded from your Test Taker Portal. There is no physical copy of it.

Sending Your Results to a Receiving Organization
You have the opportunity to send ten free TRFs to Recognizing Organizations during the test registration process.
If, after your test, you wish to send your results to an organization, please fill in our online application form. There will be an administrative fee.
Please note that we are only able to access and provide IELTS results within the last two years.
Fees
After the test, the price to prepare, print (or send electronically) and send a TRF to a Recognizing Organization is $25.00. (this includes Canada Post letter delivery service or for electronic results). After sending us the form, we will send you a payment link.
Enquiry on Results
IELTS Scores are reliable and errors rarely occur. If, however, you would like your test to be re-scored, you may ask for an EOR. You must request an EOR within 6 weeks of your test date.
Your result will normally be available in 2 to 21 days, depending on several factors including the number of sections requested for remark.
The fee to request an EOR is $285.00. You will receive a refund minus a $35 administrative fee in the result of an improved score.
