George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
Simple actions, big Impact
Everyone in the George Brown Polytechnic (GBP) community plays a role in keeping our digital spaces safe from cyber security threats. Simple everyday actions like checking for suspicious emails, staying on top of software updates on your devices, and choosing secure passwords can make a big difference.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
One of the best ways to keep bad guys out is to use multi-factor authentication (MFA). It's a cyber security best practice that provides an added layer of security. You need to use MFA to access your college email and Microsoft 365 platforms in order to keep GBP systems and users’ information secure.
