Success Stories

“When I was applying to college, I knew that I wanted to study hospitality and tourism and at the time, George Brown College was the only school that offered a diploma in Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure. The two-year program was an excellent learning opportunity and it made me realize that I wanted to pursue further education in this field.

“Again, George Brown was the first to offer a Bachelor of Applied Business degree in Hospitality Operations Management. Because I had completed the Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure diploma, I was eligible to enrol in a bridging program and then transition into the third year of the BABH program.

“The degree program provided me with a more diverse education and a deeper understanding of the hospitality industry from a management perspective. And the most wonderful part – I completed a diploma and a degree in four years.”

Virginia Godziek (2007 graduate, Bachelor of Applied Business – Hospitality Operations Management and Diploma – Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure)
