Toronto is at the heart of the film and television production industry in Canada. At the School of Media & Performing Arts, our learning environment is designed to immerse you into this dynamic sector. We’ve carefully crafted our programs to respond to today’s film and television demands. 

You will collaborate with students from various programs such as Acting for Media, Screenwriting & Narrative Design, Visual Effects and other programs to deliver on your capstone project and to experience a semi-professional environment while being a student.

Our Campus

As a student in this program, you will have access to state-of-the-art technology that is regularly used in the Film and Television industry. This includes access to cinema cameras including CANON C300, Panasonic Lumix GH5, Sony FS7 and more. You will also have access to lenses, monitors, stabilizers and other high-end video recording technology. 

Our campus features dedicated filming studios for you to access. Additionally, we are the first college in Canada to have a dedicated Sound Design classroom with a Dolby Atmos Speaker Setup.
