George Brown College is integrated right into the heart of Toronto, Canada’s largest city and perhaps the most diverse city in the world. It is the epicentre of nearly every major industry in Canada and one of the most important economic hubs in North America. As such, the city plays a big part in the applied learning environment at the college.
We have three main urban campuses – St. James, Casa Loma, Waterfront – and several other downtown locations that place students right where the action is. Every campus is equipped with the most state-of-the-art learning environments that mimic real work settings, so students gain experience that gives them a competitive edge in the job market.
For instance, Business students study just steps from Bay Street, the financial hub of the country. Nursing and healthcare students are minutes from Canada's highest concentration of research and teaching hospitals. Hospitality and Culinary Arts have access to some of the top chefs and restaurants in the country. And Design students learn amidst prestigious theatres, galleries, studios and agencies.
