DANE HALL: My name is Dane, Dane Hall and I'm currently enrolled in George Brown College. Getting into college it was - it was a very good feeling to know that I'm trying to pursue something that will be beneficial to me later on in my life.ANNE MacKENZIE-RIVERS: I love to hear from my students to see how theyÕre doing. Has the scholarship they've gotten here or there really made a difference to them?DANE HALL: Scholarship helped me by providing more study time for me so I don't have to worry about certain financial needs while going to school. ANNE MacKENZIE-RIVERS: I met with my children at Christmas. They were all -- we were all together. We met. We discussed my Will and my wishes to leave a legacy. They're very moved by it. It's also given them some food for thought in terms of how they manage their legacies. DANE HALL: Well, my mom, she's overwhelmed right now. She's very, she's very proud of me. I feel like I accomplished something great in life. Not only for me, but for my family, too, as well.ANNE MacKENZIE-RIVERS: To set up scholarships for, for people here at George Brown, it's such an incredible privilege. And so, to me, it feels -- it just feels good and it won't hurt, it feels good. It's -- it, it kind of leaves me speechless.[music]
