Biography

Robin has deep expertise in performance, learning and development, technology in business and entrepreneurial practices. He has an interdisciplinary academic background coupled with a global corporate experience spanning two decades. His double doctorate degrees, 20k+ followers on Twitter, specialized research, and publications gained him a featured guest spot in CNN-Asia discussing about the linkage between corporate social responsibility and social media. He was a featured guest at CBC-Metro Morning in Toronto and Kitchener/Waterloo on the topic of Productive Mobile Employees and their Work-Life Balance.  

Robin has been a professor at George Brown College since 2009 having started as an adjunct and onto a full time professorship. He has spoken on business and human resources topics at more than three dozen conferences in Europe, Asia and North America throughout his career. His current research is sponsored by a federal grant (SSHRC-NSERC) on the journey of Canadian newcomers to a feeling of 'belongingness’ in their host country.
