Biography

An award-winning educator with 15 years’ university teaching experience, Charles Janthur has been Vice President, Money Market, at DEPAG Deposit Agency of Canada since 1995. His initial mandate there involved formulating and implementing a new strategic initiative within the department with the goal of improving customer relations, advancing relationships with suppliers, taking cost-cutting measures and increasing profits. With the strategies he introduced Charles realigned and strengthened ties with RBC Dominion Securities and CIBC Trust and forged stronger foundations for ongoing business. The result was greater profits, greater administrative efficiencies and lower operating costs.
