WAVE Clinics Patient Registration Information

George Brown College accepts clients to the clinical facilities based on their suitability for teaching purposes.  The Faculty reserves the right to refuse any client deemed not suitable for teaching purposes. The dental treatment is performed by a student(s) registered in a Dental Health Sciences Program at George Brown College and under the direct supervision of qualified dental professionals.

Clinics operate during the academic year from September to April, and in the case of dental hygiene services, until June.

The restorative dental hygiene clinics (fillings), operates during the months of January, February and March only. Clinical appointments are organized according to the academic schedule for each program. (For example, restorative services are only available on Mondays and Tuesdays.)

If you become a client of the WAVE Dental Clinics, appointments will be scheduled for the applicable clinic on the days and times requested by the assigned student. As our students are developing their dental skills, your treatment will require multiple appointments and you may be expected to attend three hour clinics for 4 -7 appointments to complete your treatment (sometimes more). For denture appointments, you should expect to attend between 6-9 appointments. 

You may pre-register with our office by filling out our secure online WAVE Clinics Patient Registration Form. Once you have completed the form and to ensure we receive your information electronically, please make sure to press the 'Submit Form' button found at the bottom of the page. By completing and submitting this form, you will be automatically placed in queue for client screening.

While we do our best to respond to requests in a timely manner, we receive a high volume of treatment requests. Our response to your request will be based on the time of year that you make your request, the type of treatment that you require, and your suitability for the program.

PLEASE NOTE: It is not uncommon for it to take several weeks, and in some cases months, to be assigned to one of our students.

  • WAVE Client Services Reception is located on the third floor of the campus. From the front entrance, take the stairs or the elevator (past the Welcome & Information Desk) to the third floor and check in for your appointment.


  • September - April:
  • Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. 
  • Friday:8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • May, June: Hours vary.
  • Closed: July, August, public holidays, December break, intercession weeks in October & February, examination periods and development days.
