Contract Faculty

Contract Faculty

George Brown College is committed to the professional development of all its staff.  The following resources have been prepared by the Organization and Staff Development Department to provide information and timely advice and direction to faculty who teach at the college on a part-time, partial-load, or sessional basis.

The material provided here is designed to work with, not to replace, other orientation material you may receive from your departments. And it is not intended to replace any of the policies or procedures set forth by the College.

It is also important to take advantage of the many professional development opportunities offered to you be the Organization and Staff Development Department.  Throughout the year, our department offers a series of valuable teaching and learning workshops.  You can find out more and register for some of them by accessing the "Calendar of Events" link on this page.

If you have any questions about professional development activities available to contract faculty, please feel free to contact Lazaros Simeon, the faculty facilitator and coordinator of contract faculty professional development, at

If you have questions about your contracts or your employment status, please contact Adrienne Bourque, Employment Services Administrator, at
