This course is designed for high-intermediate/advanced ESL students who want to improve their business communication skills. This course focuses on helping students understand and function more confidently and effectively in the Canadian business context. The overriding themes are the essentials of oral communication and cultural diversity as they relate to cross-cultural understanding, relationship building, and the form and language of meetings, socializing, presenting, using the telephone, and negotiating.
