In the studio and on stage

Whether it’s in the studio or on stage, George Brown College’s School of Media and Performing Arts provides training environments similar to those you’ll find in the professional world.

Many of our classes happen in the studio and rehearsal hall, but significant learning opportunities also happen on stage in front of the public.

Students in their final year of our Theatre Arts program perform a season at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts Open New Browser Window in downtown Toronto.

Our dancers become part of the city’s vibrant dance community as they train and perform in the heart of one of Canada’s top cultural centres and work with leading dance professionals in an environment that values disciplined training, individual expression, and artistic growth.
