George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.

About our Events and Workshops
One of the goals of the Indigenous Initiatives team is to increase the awareness of Indigenous culture among the students and staff of George Brown Polytechnic and the surrounding Toronto community. Throughout the year, we host events, workshops and social gatherings to share our cultural knowledge.
We encourage everyone, regardless of ethnicity or religion, to come and learn with us.
