In 2014, George Brown received a silver rating for its STARS submission.
"The STARS submission process has enabled us to identify areas where the college is already a leader in terms of sustainability performance," George Brown College President Anne Sado said of the silver rating.
"It has also identified areas where we need to continue to improve in terms of sustainability in curricula, operations and facilities."
In 2017, George Brown will be looking ahead to the next five year plan and evaluating practical alternatives for strategic improvements to sustainability.
