Two graduates from our School of Design were part of a team that took home a prestigious prize from Cannes, France this month.
Spencer Dingle and Jordan Hamer, both associate creative directors at the Marketing and Communications firm Cossette, were part of the team that developed the "Follow the Arches" outdoor ad campaign for McDonald's. That campaign won the top prize
in the outdoor category at the 2018 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity . The prize was announced June 20.
The clever campaign aimed to reduce confusion around the fast food giant's roadside signs directing motorists to the nearest location. They did this by cropping the McDonald's famous golden arches to provide easy-to-understand driving directions to
the next restaurant.

Dingle and Hamer both graduated from the Graphic Design program in 2012.
