Earlier this month the provincial government announced changes to the Ontario Student Assistance Plan (OSAP), tuition and student fees.
On January 17, Merrilee Fullerton, Minister for Training, Colleges and Universities, announced the government will be “refocusing the Ontario Student Assistance Plan.” The provincial government will also reduce tuition by 10 per cent and will launch a
Student Choice Initiative where some previously mandatory ancillary fees will be optional for students. These changes will take effect for the 2019-2020 school year.
