On March 29, 2018, George Brown College was thrilled to celebrate as Building Opportunities for Life Today (B.O.L.T) Charitable Foundation renewed its support with another gift of $30,000 to support student scholarships.

B.O.L.T Charitable Foundation, established by Tridel, has been supporting students at George Brown College since 2009. Joanne Bin, the Executive Director at B.O.L.T noted the importance of giving back to students in the Construction and Engineering community. “We want students to know that their career goals are possible. We want to support their educational journey as it builds a foundation of skills and confidence that will propel them forward. We are there to watch and support students as they grow and develop, and for B.O.L.T this is what drives us.”

The B.O.L.T Charitable Foundation Award was recognized at a cheque presentation on March 29th at George Brown’s Casa Loma Campus. “As we celebrate another generous gift from our friends at B.O.L.T Charitable Foundation, we can’t help but look back to all of Tridel’s generous support to George Brown College. George Brown’s strength as an innovator in the construction and engineering industry is influenced by partners like Tridel. This year we recognize the 5th anniversary of the naming of the Angelo DelZotto School of Construction Management. We are extremely proud and honoured to have one of our schools named after this family,” said Sado.

“We look forward to giving these awards out to students at the Centre for Construction and Engineering Technologies Awards Ceremony on April 26, 2018.
