Use this service to store documents and access materials from multiple devices. Office 365 could also come in handy if you're working in a group and want to share documents for editing.
Full-time students receive one terabyte of storage.
Do you need some technical assistance? Having trouble resetting your password, or accessing Wi-Fi? GBC Assist is an online resource for tech support. You can also submit a ticket to have the college's technical support staff help resolve your issue.
If you'd like to brush up on your skills or learn new ones, you have access to thousands of online tutorials on Lynda.com. You can choose from videos on a wide range of topics including web development, graphic design and photography. Students log
on via the Library Learning Commons website.
The official George Brown College app provides quick access to important college information. It also provides quick connections to the Student Service Centre, Blackboard and our tech support tool. Features on the app include:
- Student Service Centre ticket: reserve a spot in the queue at your campus Student Service Centre from your mobile device.
- Class information: access your grades, schedules and class locations. The app also includes personalized class cancellation notifications.
- Tech assistance: find information on password resets, wireless access and other issues or submit a ticket for help via GBC Assist.
Borrow a portable Wi-Fi device
Students can borrow a portable Wi-Fi device from their campus Library Learning Commons (LLC) that can provide secure and wireless Internet access. Show your student card to check out a wireless hotspot router for up to three days.
