New entrance scholarships for Chef School students thanks to gift from Villa Charities

Are you a first-year student in the Culinary Arts — Italian program? You may be eligible for new entrance scholarships made available thanks to a $20,000 gift from Villa Charities

Eight new scholarships, each worth $2,500, will be awarded to first-semester full-time students registered in the Fall 2021 semester. Villa Charities, a Toronto-based non-profit organization and registered charity, aims to enrich lives through experiences and services that honour Italian culture and heritage, and it is looking to provide financial support to students who will help further its mission. 

Funding for the new scholarships was also supported by Toronto catering company The Food Dudes

Scholarship eligibility 

Students will be considered for the awards if they apply, and meet the following criteria: 

  • registered in the first semester of the Culinary Arts – Italian program 
  • demonstrate leadership qualities through various means, including volunteer community service 
  • exhibit a strong interest for their field of study and demonstrate passion for future academic and professional endeavors in relation to Italian heritage and culture.

The deadline to apply for the Villa Charities Culinary Scholarship – Supported in part by the Food Dudes is October 8, 2021.
