Faculty from our Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts will continue to share expertise through the academic mentoring model we’ve established with Chitkara University. Eligible students at the Indian university will now receive advanced standing into the third year of our Honours Bachelor of Commerce—Culinary Management program, which launched in 2016. The program pairs culinary skills and the business acumen needed to survive and thrive in the ever-changing food and beverage industry.
“We’re very pleased to deepen and expand our collaboration with Chitkara University,” said Anne Sado, President, George Brown College, who travelled to India to sign the agreement. “We share a commitment to preparing students for a diverse and global workplace. We are also united by our sense of responsibility to industry, as we strive to deliver exceptional graduates who will become tomorrow’s industry leaders.”
We established our partnership with Chitkara University in 2006 and since then more than 160 students have benefited earning dual credentials from each institution.
