11 things you can do now to prepare for the fall term

Here are 11 things you can do now to prepare for the fall term:

  1. Register for fall term classes

    Web registration for full-time programs for the 2018 fall term starts on July 16. Check STU-VIEW Open New Browser Window to see your dates and times and to register.

  2. Register for Up and Running

    Up and Running is our new student preparation program. Offered July 23-26, this is a great way to learn about college services and to ask questions. Visit georgebrown.ca/orientation/upandrunning to register.

  3. Register for orientation

    Orientation for new students happens the week before your first term. These sessions are a great way to familiarize yourself with the college and meet faculty and fellow students. Visit georgebrown.ca/orientation to register.

  4. Apply for a part-time job on campus

    Are you hoping to work through the school year? You can apply for a job on-campus in the summer. You can also use the college’s job listing service, GBCareers Open New Browser Window, to check for available jobs both on and off campus.

    Learn about ways you can meet new people, network and gain new skills by getting involved in campus life.

  7. Set a budget

    Avoid lineups in September and submit a photo online for your George Brown College student ID.

  9. Download the George Brown College app
