How can you get international work experience?

George Brown students have the opportunity to complete work-integrated learning abroad! This means you’ll get to learn by doing, but in an international setting. Having global work experience will make you even more desirable as a potential candidate and positively affect your resume and prospective career.

If you are a current George Brown student and would like to complete a work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunity abroad, you can learn about the application process below.

Connect with your placement coordinator about the guidelines and processes necessary for your academic department

Step 2: Connect with the International Centre

Contact the International Centre’s Global Mobility team for instructions on how to apply, timelines and requirements by emailing globalmobility@georgebrown.ca

If you are planning on a WIL abroad, you may wish to register for the Cultural Intelligence Certificate the semester prior to your WIL abroad opportunity.
