George Brown’s new Daphane Cockwell Centre for Health Sciences is one of the first facilities in Canada specifically built to support collaborative, patient-centred health care education. Located at Toronto’s waterfront, near the foot
of Sherbourne Street, this eight- storey, 330,000-square-foot facility builds on our strength as one of Ontario’s largest health care educators.
In George Brown’s Schools of Nursing, Health and Wellness, Dental Health and Health Services Management, 3,500 students are learning from our partners in health care as well as educators from other institutions.
Through their hands-on classes, our students are learning how to make improvements to the delivery of health care in Ontario.
