Ingrid Wagemans, MALAT

Biography

Ingrid worked extensively in the Toronto fashion industry, in the areas of importing, manufacturing, retail and consulting.  She is an enthusiastic Professor in the School of Fashion Studies, teaching a wide range of courses pertaining to the business of fashion.  Projects include mentoring 50 – 85 students operating two on campus fashion boutiques and coaching up to 220 students preparing for their Field Education Experience.  Projects in the past included establishing and managing a job placement board, graduate profile book and FashionWorks job fair/networking event.  She consistently demonstrates a sincere interest in student success and academic excellence and was recently assigned to coordinate the Fashion Management and Sustainable Fashion Production programs.
