Clint Kissoon


Mr. Kissoon is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, a Chartered Construction Manager and Gold Seal certified Estimator. He began his work at George Brown College in 2001 as a Professor and Coordinator of the Construction Engineering Technician and Technology Diploma programs. From 2006 to 2010, he was a Professor and Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Technology (Construction Management) Degree program and is currently the Academic Chair of the Angelo DelZotto School of Construction Management. Prior to joining George Brown College, Mr. Kissoon was a project manager in the Facilities and Real Estate Division, City of Toronto. He has over thirty years of experience in the construction industry, both as a practitioner and an educator and facilitated several BIM workshops and training sessions. He has also written and published several construction management textbooks including Cost Control for Contractors, Estimating in Building Construction and served as the Technical Author for the RICS/CIQS Project Monitoring Guidance Note. He was the 2009 recipient of the Construction Institute of Canada (TCIC) Chancellor’s award for excellence.
