As part of the Startup Global 2026 program, Startup Canada is hosting a National Virtual Pitch Competition for early-stage entrepreneurs ready to grow beyond Canada and expand into international markets.
On May 26, 2026, selected founders will pitch live on Zoom to a panel of judges for a chance to advance to the Top 10 Finals on May 28, 2026. Each entrepreneur will deliver a 3-minute verbal pitch (no deck) followed by 3 minutes of Q&A. From the Top 10, one winner will receive an $8,500 cash prize and secure a spot in the Grand Finale.
The Grand finale will be held in Mississauga, on October 29, 2026.
