Student Life x Pride House Toronto presents
Special Screening of Pink Light!
Participating in sports can be a meaningful experience for many, offering belonging, community, and lifelong friendships. But for trans people, participating in sports can be fraught with prying questions, demeaning requests, and outright exclusion. This is why it’s especially important to celebrate trans excellence and joy in sport.
Join Pride House Toronto for a special screening of Pink Light, a short film that tells the story of a former pro hockey player who time-travels to his pre-transition past. He finds his earlier self waiting for life to start only to discover he was already the person he'd become.
After the screening will be a talkback with the team behind the film and a meet-and-greet opportunity with the cast.
The screening will be held in the second floor auditorium, room 237, of Pride House (or as you know it: 51 Dockside Drive at Waterfront Campus).
