Hear what some of the students taking Dual Credit courses at George Brown have to say about the program:

I chose to participate in the Dual Credit initiative because it related to my overall goal of becoming a video game programmer/artist. It would allow me to gain knowledge about college life and the institution. Overall I wanted to expand my knowledge in graphic arts and give me a brief introduction to college work

I decided to take the Dual Credit program because I wanted to learn more about the construction industry in general and I wanted to learn more about working safely and the differences between a safe and unsafe environment…. Taking this course has made me think about my future, and because I like this program, I have applied to George Brown College for the Construction Engineering Technology program.

For my dual credit co-op, I chose a program that directly linked to early childhood education because I eventually want to be a kindergarten teacher… I was the only person from my high school taking George Brown’s ECE Creative Expressions course at Ryerson University…… I really enjoyed the dual credit co-op, and I’m so thankful that I took this opportunity because I learnt so much, met such great people - but also now feel like I am more ready for college or university after this amazing experience. George Brown College is my choice school for next year.
