Student Support and Service Delivery

You have more choice when it comes to how you access student supports and services during the Fall 2021 semester.

Below, you’ll find a list of student services and how they will be delivered for the fall semester. Whether on-campus, online, or both, we are here for you.

Definitions of service delivery methods:

Virtual only (online): Online services personalized for every student.

On campus only (in person): Limited on campus availability for face-to-face services at select campus locations.

Choice (virtual or on campus): Students choose to receive a student support service virtually or in person via limited on campus availability. If you seek support in person, we’ll also outline the benefits of virtual services for future student support service needs. The availability of ‘choice’ services is guided by George Brown’s Work-From-Home policy that permits employees to work on and off-campus.

Paused (Suspended): Service unavailable.

Health and safety protocols

To gain access to campus, you must follow George Brown’s COVID-19 protocols, which are based on Toronto Public Health guidelines. These protocols include our one-time COVID-19 awareness training, a once per-visit COVID-19 health screening, showing your vaccine verification and student ID, wearing PPE (a face mask at all times and eye protection where required) and practicing social distancing.

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and make decisions based on the latest guidance from Toronto Public Health. Our health and safety protocols are subject to change as guidance from public health evolves.
