Tianna Sullivan (Women's Basketball)

Tianna Sullivan led the Huskies to their fifth and sixth consecutive wins last week, scoring 20 points in a tight win over Durham and following that up with 15 point, 10 rebound double-double in a blowout victory over Loyalist. Sullivan, who led the OCAA in scoring a year ago, currently ranks fourth in the province averaging 17.8 points a night.

The 5'9" Toronto native was recognized at half-time of the win over the Lancers, as she became the first player in program history to eclipse the 1,000 point mark on November 17. She can add that accolade to an incredible career that already includes an OCAA scoring championship, division championship, OCAA 1st team all-star and CCAA all-Canadian nod.

The Huskies head into the holiday break with a record of 8-1 and tied for first place atop the east division standings.

Yuseph Jackman (Men's Volleyball)

The men's volleyball team inched above .500 and earned their second consecutive win after a five-set battle with Durham last Wednesday. Jackman was outstanding in the tough road victory, finishing with 11 kills on 36 total attacks, a team-high 19 digs, and two blocked shots. Jackman played all five sets, and in an expanded role has been among the most improved outside hitters in the east this season. He currently ranks 23rd in the province with 82 points, while his 226 total attacks ranks him third. Alongside Vivek Mathimakki, Nick Baker-Bell and others, the Huskies have a versatile set of outside hitters.

The Huskies close the first semester on Thursday, December 6 when they play the Fleming Knights a visit.
