A COMBINED 6-1, HUSKIES BASKETBALL WILL HOST GEORGIAN ON TUESDAY NIGHT

With the men's team a perfect 4-0 and the women 2-1, George Brown basketball will host Georgian on Tuesday night at Casa Loma.

The men's team is coming off a dominant 99-70 win over Canadore, and defence has been the Huskies calling card thus far. George Brown has held opponents to 72 points or fewer in all four wins, and they are holding opponents to the second-lowest scoring average in Ontario (69.3 points per game). The Huskies have done an outstanding on the glass, outrebounding opponents by 10 a night, the fourth strongest margin in the OCAA.

They also boast an impressively balanced scoring attack thus far, with five Huskies averaging double figures and the Huskies shooting a scorching 51.1% from the field (fourth in the OCAA). Liban Mohamed (18.5 ppg), Adam Costanzo (15.3 ppg) and Kevon Guisseppi-Masco (13.3ppg) have led the way on that side of the ball.

The Grizzlies head into the matchup with a record of 2-2.

The women's team is coming off a split of a tough road doubleheader at Algonquin, and they will now play five of their next seven games at home. The Huskies mark of 43.8% shooting from the floor is currently the top mark in Ontario, and they also rank tops in rebound margin per game (plus-12.7 a night). 

Kiyanna Grimaldo and Zae Sellers have led the charge on the offensive side of the ball, each averaging 15.3 points per game and playing over 33 minutes a night. In her first year at George Brown, Sellers has already gone a long way towards establishing herself among the best point guards in Ontario. She is shooting a scorching 60% from the field, and her 15 assists rank her fifth in the province. Her demeanor and ability to get the Huskies into sets efficiently has been a difference-maker.

The Grizzlies are winless on the season with a record of 0-3.
