George Brown volleyball will play host to the Fleming Knights on Tuesday as they celebrate Seniors Night at St. James.

The men’s team (13-4, 2nd east) have assured themselves the east’s second seed, guaranteeing that they will host an OCAA crossover playoff game this Sunday for a birth in the provincial championship. The Huskies will take on either Sheridan, Conestoga or Mohawk in that do-or-die matchup - last year they defeated Niagara at home in the crossover game.

After a short drought, the Huskies appear to be rounding into form at the perfect time. George Brown has consecutive wins over tough Centennial and Canadore programs, and have won seven of their past nine matches overall.

The Huskies have won 45 sets against 21 losses on the season, and swept Fleming 3-0 earlier in the year. The Knights head into the matchup 9-8.

The women’s team (1-16, 10th east) are coming off a win over Canadore, and will look to hit the offseason with some momentum.

First-year head coach Daphne Choi will get her first full offseason to recruit, and she’s already begun molding the program she envisions. George Brown has much to look forward to heading into the 2018-19 campaign.

Prior to opening serve in each game, graduating Huskies will be recognized for their contributions to the program.

Women’s game gets underway at 6 p.m., men’s game at 8 p.m. Click here to watch live or follow @GBC_Huskies on twitter for updates throughout the night.
