Osman Hussein scored two goals at the Redeemer Cup, while Tianna Sullivan had a pair of big games.

Osman Hussein (Men’s Indoor Soccer)

Huskies men’s indoor soccer went a perfect 5-0 at the Redeemer Cup on Friday afternoon, capturing a title in the season’s second tournament. Hussein, a 6’1” Toronto native, picked up where he left off during the outdoor season, scoring a pair of goals en route to victory. The Huskies outscored opponents 14-5 in running the table, and Hussein was unstoppable alongside Shaquille Agard to form a potent George Brown frontline. Next up the Huskies will host their own George Brown Invitational on Thursday, February 1 at the OSA where they are looking to repeat as champions.

Tianna Sullivan (Women’s Basketball)

Tianna Sullivan, currently the OCAA’s second-leading scorer (21 ppg), combined for 46 points and 19 rebounds as the Huskies split a pair of road games. In an incredible back-and-forth loss to Seneca, George Brown’s first loss of the season, Sullivan scored 17 points and a game-high 13 boards. She followed that performance up with 29 points on 11-for-21 shooting in Saturday’s 96-85 bounce-back win over Algonquin. Next up the Huskies will host Durham on Wednesday night at Casa Loma.
