Ace Zeng (Badminton)

Zeng was dominant at the Fanshawe Invitational this past weekend, winning a pair of gold medals to pace the Huskies badminton team. The 5’9” first-year Husky dominated throughout the event, defeating St. Lawrence Cornwall’s Henry Andkilde to win the men’s singles competition and partnering up with Yang Jin to defeat Humber’s Cameron Lai and Darcy Schmidt in men’s doubles. Zeng will look to keep rolling when George Brown hosts the Huskies Invitational on December 9-10.

Tianna Sullivan (Women’s Basketball)

Third-year Husky Tianna Sullivan became the women’s basketball program’s all-time leading scorer on Tuesday night, surpassing former Huskies great Angel Mbikay with her 585th career point. She played a key role in a pair of wins that extended the Huskies win streak to six, as George Brown now sits in sole possession of the eastern division’s top spot with a record of 6-0. In Friday night’s huge win over previously unbeaten Seneca, Sullivan finished with 15 points and a team-best eight rebounds. She and the Huskies will look to stay perfect this week in matchups against Durham and Seneca.
