Robin Fox-Pappas (Men’s Baseball)

Fox-Pappas wrapped up what has been a standout season on Sunday, driving in his tenth RBI of the year against Fanshawe. In 2017 the 6’4” outfielder hit .413 (3rd in OCAA), had an on-base percentage of .550 (1st in OCAA) and slugged .630 (2nd in OCAA). Batting clean-up, he was undoubtedly among the most feared hitters in the province while proving incredible durable, appearing in 19 of 20 games. He also ranked in the top ten in hits, doubles, and total bases, while making five appearances on the mound in 2017.

Angeline Alviar (Badminton)

Alviar picked up right where she left off this weekend, excelling at the season-opening Humber Invitational. She and partner Yunji Kim qualified for the women’s doubles finals, a promising sign for a duo coming off an excellent season together. In 2016-17, Alviar medalled at the provincial championship while earning George Brown’s female athlete of the year award. Heading into her third year with the program, she is off to a quick start in yet again establishing herself among the best women’s players in the province.
