Application information during IT outage

Information for Applicants

Unfortunately, some of our IT systems are still down. Though we are limited in our application processing capacity, our domestic admissions team continues to process applications daily. You can log into your Ontario Colleges account to see offers posted on OCAS and accept your offer too. 

The International Online Application System (OAS) has been restored and is now operational. New international applicants can now register for an OAS account and submit an application. International students with offers can now pay and accept their offer on OAS. Our international admissions team is working to process all applications and to send out offers as quickly as possible. 

Here’s what you can do in the meantime:

1. Complete your Fee Payment if possible – Please note that the fee payment deadline for new and returning domestic students, as well as returning international students, will be extended as soon as all student systems are fully operational. 

2. Check the Ontario Colleges website - Domestic students can still visit ontariocolleges.ca to get assistance with applications. You can see GBC program availability; accept your offer; make changes to your current application; request transcripts; or submit a new application.

Please note that GBC will be flexible and accommodating to any applicant whose offer expired during this system outage and who was not able to make payment on time.
